Can anyone suggest how to remove dmso from reaction mixture when there is a preparation of activated ester using dcc/nhs coupling?

Here, the product is water sensitive as it may cleave under moisture. I have heard that speed vac is only done for water removal.

You can add water and then extract with ethyl acetate or ether.
