Can anyone suggest how to prepare hydrogel from crop residues or from woods/tree branches etc. in a simple way?

Hydrogel from Cellulose

Hello Mr. Chaukan

tree branches are not suitable for paper cellulose (except cardboard for greeting cards) and not for microcristalline cellulose - due to varying composition and DP. Process needs more chemicals and leeds to less yield and moderate/poor quality. But it is possible to desintegrate dry MCC particles by shear force (homogenizer etc) to provide a colloidal hydrogel in water.
