Radial versus axial heterojunction.

Dear Mohammad,

There is an almost endless number of experimental studies dealing with properties of nanowire heterostructures. Regarding theoretical studies, I'd like to introduce you to my recent work dealing with the band structure of nonuniformy doped nanowires, and it's references. Specifically 8-10 which also deal with solving Poisson's equation in cylindrical coordinates. I would also look at further work by Lapierre about this subject.
