I am very much interested to work on mushroom (spawn or Mushroom production) for improving the yields or to improve nutritional value or to screen different substrates etc., can anyone suggest me any ideas ?

Dear Venkata, I think that is a good idea. You can test different substrates from locally available lignocellulosic biowastes enriched with different mineral sources like lime for Oyster mushroom (Pleoretus oystretus). These are the mushroom species known to yield with in short period of time. You can measure the nutritional compositions as you vary substrate. You can also measure the yield. Good luck!
