In my opinion, the most modern direction of research in etrepreneuship is area of social capital and by this indirectly cultural factors can be also analysed.
Marwaris and Gujarathis in Western India, Chettiars from Tamilnadu, Reddi's from Andhra Pradesh and Punjabis have shown remarkable entrepreneurship in India. It is worth analysing their best qualities for entrepreneurship. Parsis have done remarkable work in philanthropy and entrepreneurship. These are worth studying in my opinion.
You may think about Bourdieu's theory of capital. He adresses a problem of conversion different types of capital among which are both cultural and social capital. You may try to find relations between financial capital of a company and other types of capital. Good luck.
