I'm doing a calcium influx experiment using HEK293 cells and measuring the affect of 2-APB on STIM1 and Orai1, and trying to determine its mechanism of action. I am using thapsigargin to induce SOCE but i have been told that i need to use another compound as a control but i don't know what to use.
