Hi
i have drawn the charge density contour maps using VESTA taking CHGCAR files from VASP. Now, What I Want is that I need to know the perimeter of each contour appearing in the cross section 2D display map. Can anyone suggest want to calculate the perimeter of the contours? i attached a sample picture for easy understanding.
I can think like below:
One should be able to do it from numerical data that was used to draw the contour map using VESTA. But the point is How to pickup such specific data points from the huge file of CHGCAR?
Can anyone suggest a way?

Working with an image, Just use the contour line in ArcGIS and export as a shape and then you can calculate perimeter!
