I have been trying to digest the faeces for quantification of silver. I have taken 100mg of dried faeces and used nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide for digestion, but at the end of the digestion the solution remains cloudy and forms aggregates. Is there any specific ratio of acid: hydrogen peroxide to be maintained or any other conditions?

We usually disolved 0,5g of dried and milled feaces in 2 ml of hydrogen peroxide and 6 ml of nitric acid for risk element analysis. Afterward we use high-presure aparature (Mars 5 Microwave Accelerated Reaction System) for sample decomposition for 45 min.
