Yes, I can show you a very cheap way to build your own catheters. Read the paper Am J Physiol. 1989 Jan;256(1 Pt 2):F63-70. You just need some tubing catheter (polyethylene 60 or so) and the porous matrix.

If you give me your postal address I will send you some matrix to build thousands.

Thank you Professor. Do excuse me for the late response. I could only access your 'Hypertension 1988 paper'. Where in you use the porous matrix embedded in PE-60 and connect the same to P23 transducer. My limited understanding would be that then- the transducer is coupled to a pressure processor amplifier?! to get the recordings. Again do excuse me for my limited knowledge in this regards.
