Military Psychology constitutes one of the oldest Section, Area and Sub-specialty of Psychology, according to the American Psychological Association (APA) -in fact, Psychometry is indebted to Ps. Military, from the Test Batteries, "Army Alpha" and "Army Beta" used in the 1st and 2nd World Wars; It is also the Clinical Psychology and Psychophysiology regarding studies on Stress and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and its intervention, Leadership, Ps. of the Command and a long etc. - for this reason, studies on LEADERSHIP and its relations with Personality and Resilience have been carried out for quite some time in the different Armies of the world and, of course, in those of NATO ... .
And I am not speaking "from hearsay" or from assumptions, but I assert it as a Higher Diploma in Ps. Military, Doctor in Medicine and Doctor in Psychology (PhD in both) that I am and, even more, as a member of the Psychology Service of the Spanish Navy (and NATO, therefore) in a situation of "Leave of absence" and as a member of the Defense Health Corps, and not precisely with a low Degree or Rank, but quite high, based on this: IN EFFECT, THERE ARE INSTRUMENTS TO MEASURE THE VARIABLES OF PERNONALITY AND OTHER TYPES THAT INFLUENCE IN THE MILITARY LEADERSHIP AND HOW DEVELOP AN ADEQUATE AND EFFECTIVE ONE ... the problem is that most of the studies and research in this regard - and many others - are "Reserved and Confidential", and cannot be published or disclosed until they are declassified (in fact, here in "RG", I have contributed some contributions from Military Ps. Whose full texts I have not been able to add, therefore) ... Anyway, in my next answer I will try to offer some data and clues in this regard. Thanks.
According to what was said in my previous answer, some Instruments could be: the "Leader's Conduct Questionnaire (CONLID)" -see Castro, Nader and Lupano, 2005-, the "Questionnaire of motivation to lead (POTENLID)" -Castro , 2005-, DAYPO's "Military Leadership Test" -www. daypo. comp and, in the same way, search in Google with the keywords: "Questionnaires to measure or evaluate Military Leadership" and "Images of Questionnaires to measure or evaluate Military Leadership" (you will find several models and examples ... although - obviously- without their correction templates or means of interpretation; I also recommend reading: "Motivation and leadership behaviors in a military population of Arequipa" by J. Abarca -Ciencia y Desarrollo 22 (1): 69-80 January-March 2019-; "Analysis of leadership from military maneuver exercises" by Beramendi, M; Muratori, M and Zubieta, E -Pensamiento Psicológico, vol. 13, no. 1, January-June, 2015, pp. 105-118; Pontificia Universidad Javeriana; Cali, Colombia; Thank you.
