One of my projects involves assessing community perceptions of criminal activity and law enforcement (specifically, US law enforcement). Ideally, I would like to consider more than just satisfaction surveys. Answering the question properly might require a more global approach to include actual behavioral indicators such as home sales, retail sales activity, and so on suggesting satisfaction or dissatisfaction. I am looking for insight on how that might best be done, especially given limited resources. Any articles on that, especially if they offer tools or methodologies, would be helpful.
