Can anyone recommend a kit for determining circulating levels of EPA metabolites, i.e. PGI3, PGE3, TXB3?

I am trying to determine the effect EPA supplementation has on postoperative recovery and as such I want to measure the levels of EPA metabolites. I have already looked at the levels of the arachidonic acid metabolites PGI3, PGE3 and LTB4 using an ELISA, however I cannot find ELISA kits to measure EPA metabolites. Can anyone recommend one or a different strategy for determining the levels of the 3 series prostanoids/5 series leukotrienes in circulation

Hi Suzanne,

The best way to determine the EPA derived eicosanoids is to use mass spectrometry. There are not kits available to determine them any other way.
