I'm looking for instruments which can supply High voltage DC for poling piezoelectric material i.e. piezoceramic, piezoelectric polymer, piezoelectric composite etc. However, I don't have much knowledge about experimental setup for poling of piezoelectric material.
If anyone know about the price of the instruments , please shear......

You should first choose your electrode configuration to which you will apply an high electric field and obtain the polarization direction. For example, piezoelectric patches have electrodes on top and bottom surfaces and you need to apply around 2 kV/mm electrical field to obtain the polarization in the thickness direction. To do this, you need a high voltage amplifier to give a very high DC voltage for about half an hour (this differ depending to the piezoelectric material), and then you have your poled piezoelectric material.

You may be aware that poling is carried out under application of high DC field at temperatures upto 140 degC which depends upon Curie temp, temp dependence of electrical conductivity of sample to be poled etc.
There are three important poling parameters-
*Poling field
*Temperature
*Time
Selection of these paramerers and their profile depends mainly upon material type, grade, poling thickness etc.
For example- PZT soft grades ceramics like PZT 5A, 5J or 5H requires @ 2.0 kV/mm and temperature @120 deg C. For 10 mm of poling thickness you need DC source of atleast 20 kV which is going to decide its price.
Poling parameters will very for hard grade PZT. For polymers poling parameters and may be poling method/equipment will be entirely different.
