There are companies that are manufacturing disposable and edible (e.g. wheat bran) products such as plates, cups, forks, etc., and I wonder if anyone could quantify the contribution of such products to the reduction in consumption of plastics. Since crude oil is a source of raw material for making plastics, such reduction could contribute significantly to the environment. Also, the amount of trash would be reduced.
