I want to deposit gold contact on thin film for Hall effect and resistivity measurement, I need AutoCAD file of the same so that I can get this templates. If anyone has such drawing please share with me
What are the dimensions of your hall bar? 1-2-2-1 or 1-3-1-1 geometry? Expanded contacts? What type of sample holder?
The dimension of my samples is 3mmx3mm. I want to do it in 1-2-2-1 geometry. The contacts will be placed on top of the film. I will not be able to give it Hall bar shape. I am planning to deposit contacts on top of the film and do the measurement.
What is the thickness of the film? You will need to add a passivation layer to prevent the gold from contacting the film anywhere other than the intended contact geometry. You may want to think about using a van der Pauw square instead of the bridge.
The thickness of the film is about 400-500 nm. I want to do high measurement till the high field and in the inbuilt program with the instrument switches magnetic field to a negative value for each set of measurement. If I use can der Pauw method it will take very long time.
