I think it would be very helpful, if you add the place, where you found it, the type of plant/fruit, furthermore the date, habitat dates and so on...

Rudolf's answer should go further. It is possible that your question is unanswerable. You need to provide the full scientific name of the plant.

We need to know the part of the plant. Is this a root, stem, ????

Some indication of size might help.

I should mention that I do not know exactly the species of Astragalus plant. As I found the Larvae I put it in pure alcohol for further study. It is the reason that you see the larvae in pale pink in second photo.

If you need exact species, it might be better to rear to adult. A great deal of larval identification is based on chetotaxy. This is the position in individual setae on the cuticle. Your picture is not good enough to help. An alternative might be to take SEM images of the larva and post them. However, most species keys are not based on the immatures. I think your best bet is to find some adults, preferably by finding some mature larvae in the field and allowing them to mature to adults.

In fact I tried to allow one larvae to mature to adult but I was not successful and it died. Also, my another problem is that I find lots of beetles and butterflies in the filed so I can not guess what this larvae belong to. I think it belongs to butterfly but not sure. 

Well, it has urgomphi, and seems to lack prolegs. I found no reference to urgomphi in the Lepidoptera (though they might be called something else). My guess is that this is coleopteran. It looks like it is a stem borer.

I would get a few kilos of Astragalus, take it back to the lab. Clean off all insects, and place it in a cage. I would not try to extract the larvae. The more you handle the foliage the more you damage the larvae. I would keep the plants indoors. They will slowly wilt and die. This will force the few larvae that are nearly ready to pupate to finish. The larvae may pupate in the stems, but may want some loose soil for the larvae to dig into, incase that is their habit.

I am 100% certain that the answer is no. Flatheaded borers (Bupresitdae) have a characteristic shape that is hard to miss.

Yes, that is my guess. The new picture is of a buprestid beetle larva. I am not good enough to get beyond family name.

Thanks for your help. I have collected those larvae and insects in summer and I was not successful till now to clarify their scientific name. I should wait until next summer to again collect the larvae because for now it is impossible for me. 

I wished to do it before next summer but it seems that it is really impossible!

Your photos show probably clerid (Coleoptera Cleridae, checkered beetles) larvae.  Also the pink color of the 'big' larva in the first photo (a not very informative photo, in actual fact) is rather indicative for a clerid larva. But, on the basis of your photos, in my opinion an identification of these larvae up to genus or species level  is very difficult (maybe impossible). In order to a surer identification, you have to take again these larvae together their stems and to try their rearing up to adults. Most of the checkered beetles are predaceous as both adults and larvae. Within three trunks, logs and stems they prey on the larvae of various wood boring insects (e.g. bark beetles).

the photo you've attached approx. an hour ago shows an adult of a blister beetle (Coleoptera Meloidae, cf. genus Mylabris or other closely related genera). The resting position (partially vertical) of the elytra is typical in many (even if not in all) meloids (but not in clerids), and the metathoracic tarsus with four tarsomeres (instead of five evident tarsomeres) allows to exclude clerids but is compatible with blister beetles.  In the picture above, the antenna is not evident but, if you'll control, it will be - I think - not strongly clavate as typically in many clerids, but only slightly and gradually clavate, or moniliform, as is typical for many meloids. There are also other differences (e.g. shape of the prothorax, and so on). Your mistake is understandable because in this case the elytral colour (red) is similar to that of some clerids (e.g. genus Trichodes). Larvae of meloids have a very different shape, development (hypermetabolous d.) and biology. A vague similarity with clerid larvae is instead exhibited by some trogossitid larvae (Coleoptera Trogossitidae, = Temnochilidae, = Ostomatidae). No doubt that the larva shown in lateral view in the picture posted initially by you is a beetle larva (hexapod larva with urogomphi near the posterior end of the abdomen!), and not a larva or other insect orders. I confirm my opinion: clerid larva, but I'm not able to say more.

I examined the latest photos of the larvae that you posted a dozen days ago. I am not a specialist either in clerid adults or in clerid larvae, and I am not able to identify genus or species. I think it's difficult for even an expert to identify clerid larvae up to the genus or species simply on the basis of photographs. In my opinion the best way for achieving your purpose is to try to find other larvae and to be able to raise them until adults. Best regards,

There are not many keys for species identification based on immatures. If this is really important, then rear them to adults. Rinaldo has done a great job, but all larval keys require seeing parts of the larva that are difficult or impossible with the level of photography displayed so far. However, even if you had a high resolution microscope (light or SEM), you would still need to find a key to the larvae that went beyond family. I discovered that there is a manuscript "Larvae of the North American Beetles of the Family Cleridae." You could send the authors of this manuscript a sample of larvae and hope that they have the time, interest, and knowledge to identify the larvae. The authors may or may not have seen a large number of larvae from Iran. Send them larvae not pictures. I would preserve the larvae in 85% ethanol. Include as much information as you can. Be as specific as you can. GPS coordinates for collecting site would be great, but include a description that would enable anyone with a street map to find where you collected the larvae. Collect and send several different instars. I would guess that 5th instar (or last instar) are the best, but earlier instars may be useful.
