I'm looking for a dataset that includes basal metabolic rate (BMR) as a function of different attributes such as age, height, weight, fat mass, fat free mass, ethnicity, etc. Please let me know if you know of any related database or articles.
I've been working on a statistical aggregation method and estimation of the BMR is one of my case scenarios. I need some actual BMR data to test the validity of the method.
My colleagues and I have developed a new aggregation method (an advanced meta-analysis approach) and are currently writing two articles, one to introduce the method to general audiences and the other one to apply the method for the estimation of BMR. In the first article, estimation of BMR is a short example and we would like to use a subset of your dataset there, while the second article is specifically on the estimation of BMR and we need actual data to validate our findings. We are interested in a collaboration on the BMR estimation article.
