I had samples that because of their cohesive nature, it was not possible to do FTIR analysis. So someone suggest me to use ATR analysis. Now I want to interpret the analysis results and I need a source to ascribe each wavelength to an atomic bond and finally to find out what are the ingredients of my samples. the samples were the latex of a plant and I want to evaluate its potential to produce natural rubber. so it is helpful if I could find natural rubber ATR analysis too. I want to see if there is 1-4 cis polyisoprene in the latex.

That is very useful. Thank you. I also found a software which helps in interpretation of IR spectrum (irAnalyze). putting these articles and this software together is giving me the answer I'm expected to find.

FTIR-ATR is quite the same than transmission FTIR, same bands and peaks apply.

You can further directly import spectra data in to essential FTIR software and able to remove noise of the data. http://www.essentialftir.com/ (available for 30 days trail period).
Further irpal2.0 software also useful for interpreting peaks (its is a free software)

ATR (=attenuated total reflection) is a mode of analysis in FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy). ATR needs a special device (e.g., ZnSe or diamond crystal and pressure clamp). Within FTIR you can measure samples also in transmission or diffusive reflection mode. The mode is related to the material to be analyzed. ATR can be used for solids (e.g., plastics), whereas diffusive reflection can be applied for powders.
