A validated Arabic version of the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8) has been widely used to assess medication adherence.

One such validated translation was described in the following study:

Alsous, M., Jalil, M. A., Odeh, M., Alkurdi, F., & Alnan, M. (2018). Validation of Arabic Version of the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8) in Palestinian Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Tropical Journal of Pharmaceutical Research, 17(11), 2161-2167.

This study suggests that the Arabic version of the MMAS-8 scale is a valid and reliable tool to assess medication adherence among Palestinian patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The validated Arabic version of the Morisky questionnaire developed in this study can be accessed by contacting the authors.
