I have recently been enlisting the birds of my locality, which is Barrackpore, WB, India. I came across this beautiful yellow bird that was feeding on a wild fruit. It looked very similar to the black headed oriole in first sight, but then I realized the patterns and shades of black were different. The yellow color also differed. Most importantly the beak was grayish black, which is nowhere similar to orioles. I don't often find this one around only except 3-4 times, mostly during early morning hours. Would be grateful if someone identified this for me.
