I have made a wavelet coherence plot for two time series (attached herewith). In the left vertical axis of the plot (attached herewith), the scale (Years) axis shows so many digits after the decimal point (i.e 4.000000, 8.000000, etc.) , that's not expected. I want to show the y axis scale only in integer values (4, 8, 16). How can I do this, I have used "ylim=c(4,16)" function to do this , however, still it is showing so many digits after decimal point. I would be highly grateful if anybody can help me to solve this problem.

Thank you@Kavitha Pk for the link. However, when I follow the commands, it gives the coherence plot same as I already have done. Y axis (scale axis) still give so many digits after decimal point where I want integer values.
Try to use Matlab functions int8, int16, int32 to make your "y" variable integer instead of double before you plot.
Khalid Mahmud since this a coding issue, it is better to provide a minimum working example of your code so people can try it and give you the solution if they found any.

Khalid Mahmud Unfortunately, I tried many ways to make the figure as you want but I couldn't. Hopefully, someone else can find a solution for you. A side issue, I believe par(cma ...) in your code should be par(oma...).

If you are not getting a solution yet, use "options(digits=1)" to set single digit axis label.
