Margaritella ist not a valid genus anymore. It was renamed in 1974 by Haman and Huddleston, as Caudriella, see here http://biostor.org/reference/99319.
The description of Caudriella is the Loeblich and Tappan, 1988 is as follows:
CAUDRIELLA Haman and Huddleston, 1984
Plate 685, figs. 1-7
Type species: Margaritella ospinae Caudri, 1974, p. 307.
Cuadriella Haman and Huddleston, 1984, p. 126 (nom. subst. pro Margaritella Caudri, 1974)
Margaritella Caudri, 1974, p. 307 (non Margaritella Meek and Hayden, 1860)
Test of moderate size. to about 2 mm in diameter, f1auened lenticular. with differentiated median and lateral chambers. those of median layer with arcuate outer wall as seen in vertical section. irregularly arranged lateral chambers with thick walls and open lumina, embryo with small globular proloculus.
followed by two somewhat larger chambers, then with two symmetrically arranged auxiliary chambers on each side 3nd a third al the distal end of chamber three. the following periembryonic spiral forms a complete ring of chambers around the embryo, later chambers of median layer irregularly arranged, pe-riphery bluntly rounded; wall calcareous, thick, perforate, surface with thick meandrine ridges and heavy knobs at the termination of the numerous pillars in the central area. M. Eocene: Venezuela.
Caudri (1974:307) introduced the new generic name Margaritella , with M. ospinae as type-species, for larger Foraminifera obtained from the uppermost level of the Punta Mosquito Formation of Middle Eocene age on Margarita Island, Venezuela. This generic name is preoccupied twice, by Margaritella Meek and Hayden, 1860 (Jurassic and Cretaceous trochid molluscs of Nebraska), and the gastropod genus Margaritella Thiele, in Troschel (1891:259), later corrected (Thiele, in Troschel 1893:406) with the replacement name Margarella . Caudriella is proposed as a replacement name, under Art. 53 (ICZN) for Margaritella Caudri, 1974. The new name Caudriella is constructed in honor of C. M. Bramine Caudri in recognition of his micropaleontological study.
