It seems to me that more water is getting out in your model in relation to what happens in reality. That explains lower water levels and higher discharges in your model in comparison to measurements. I am not sure how you can solve that in MIKE 11, but take a closer look at the boundary conditions, viscosity and bed roughness. Hope that helps.

Thank you so much for your answers. I observed that my model is so sensitive to Manning's n value so i am playing around to fix it. I have given daily discharge and daily water level data as upstream and downstream boundary conditions respectively. Is it fine or can i give hourly water level data as both upstream and downstream boundary conditions.

I think the problem resulted from the value of n for main channel and floodplain, also may be you need to use rating curve instead of water level hydrograph as downstream boundary conditions

I dont know if you have ever come across with this error in Mike 11 when trying to model the floodplain.
