I'm currently working on contamination levels of a large range of molecules (PCB, PBDE, HAP, pesticides etc.) in marine mammals.

I'm looking for threshold values which could allow me to say if the populations are at risk or not.

I found some values defined in foodstuffs (like the limits value set by European Commission or World Health Organization) but these values are not really appropriated for marine mammals, as they are not consumed, and as they don't reflect a potential ecological impact for the individuals or the population . Thus, I'm looking for something similar to a LD50, or to values known to have potential impact on marine mammals. Is someone here able to give some help on that topic?
