Which method is the best (fast, more economic, do not need a lot of requirements) in preparation of thin film for KNN , BNT piezoelectrics?
1- PLD
2- rf sputtering
3- sol-Gel or the other chemical method
4- or another method (what is your suggestion )
What kind of films do you want?
To grow epitaxial films you should use PLD or rf sputtering.
PLD is more flexible method to grow buffer layers, multulayers or even superlattices.
Sol-gel is less expensive amd more simple, but films are always polycrystalline.
Also, using sol-gel we can not grow very thin (few nm) films.
@Yu. I. Yuzyuk thanks for your answer . I am trying to prepare polycrystalline film . then studying the dielectric and piezoelectric measurement ( for Lab. experiment )
I think Prof. Yuzuk has suggested the best possible option, and the most appropriate advise.
Try to find a good epitaxially matching substrate. Such complicated compositions can be achieved in thin film form only by the PLD technique, and the turn around time will be much faster.
PLD can offer a stoichiometric transfer.
Don't try to deposit polycrystalline films, on normal substrates, this may not yield the properties you are looking for.
Try to search a closely matching substrate, and try PLD.
