I need to make up 0.1mmol of DPPH with 100% methanol. How much in ml of each do I need?
39.43mg DPPH/1000ml of Methanol
You can calculate as per your required volume. Ex. If you want 100ml of 0.1mmol DPPH solution, then you need to dissolve 3.94mg of DPPH in 100ml of Methanol.
I agree with the answer of Rajaram....
For any molar solution use this formula mMV/1000.eg:
molecular mass: 394.32
molarity: .1m mol
volume 100 ml
394.328x .1x100/1000= 3.943 mg
How me can prepare 3.9 ml of 6x 10^-5 mol/Lmethanol DPPH solution?
Which is better for the preparation of DPPH solution, Methanol or Ethanol?
Methanol is better for the preparation of DPPH solution.
