How can we find out or draw an optical bistability diagram for 1D photonic crystal?

Optical bistability diagrams in 1D photonic crystals can be mapped through the evolution of the transmission. The hysteresis related to the bistability is attributed to the fact that 1D photonic crystals may have two or more types of output states with different levels of energy stored in the photonic crystal cavity.
