I have to agree with Kyriaki Zannettou. In my opinion, detox and diet play the largest role. Some have used bamboo charcoal as a topical treatment for acne as it has wonderful antibacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, and antimicrobial properties and it also emits negative ions. It can be made into a paste and directly applied to acne, bug bites, rashes, etc. It also has potential as a blood purifier (detox) as evidenced by this study:
I know you asked for plants, but bamboo charcoal is “sort” of a plant as it obviously comes from bamboo. Suffices to say, everyone here has made great suggestions in terms of plants and herbs. I just wanted to give you another idea. Good luck with your work.
Fagonia indica, F. cretica and F. arabica. Use Fresh Fagonia (spiny) leaves ground in grinder. use 1 teaspoon of juice along with honey (dissolved in milk or water) and sip. Apart from that Fagonia sp. have anti cancerous and antioxidant activities.
