Abstract
In this study free vibration excitation force was used with and without damping. For the undamped the equation used was mu+ku =0 while for damped mu+cu+ku =0. The outcomes were in form of tangential velocity (w) and Torque (T). The A values were same for both damped and undamped while the B values were different. For undamped the sinusoidal wave had no change in amplitude but for damped the amplitude was reducing and approached a value of 0 asymptotically.
