It may not be Palaemonidae or Caridae. It could be Solenoceridae. The second body segment should overlap with first and third segment in the case of Caridean and Palaemonids.
It could belong to Hippolytidae.
If you add a close up picture of 3rd and 2nd pereopod and the approximate size (total length) of the shrimp I may be more precise.
I have no familiarity with shrimp from the Indian Ocean, but it does bear at least a superficial resemblance to some North Atlantic Hippolytids that I am familiar with in the genera Lebbeus and Spirotocaris with its short, deep, rounded carapace, large eyes, short rostrum, and short, robust chelae, but you really a good local key and take a good look at all of the details to be sure that it fits a given description.
