It may not be Palaemonidae or Caridae. It could be Solenoceridae. The second body segment should overlap with first and third segment in the case of Caridean and Palaemonids.
I have no familiarity with shrimp from the Indian Ocean, but it does bear at least a superficial resemblance to some North Atlantic Hippolytids that I am familiar with in the genera Lebbeus and Spirotocaris with its short, deep, rounded carapace, large eyes, short rostrum, and short, robust chelae, but you really a good local key and take a good look at all of the details to be sure that it fits a given description.
