i am performing ONIOM calculations using two layers in Gassian 09 ,employing (B3LYP/6-31G+(d): amber=hardfirst) method. i often get an error of "Read MM parameter file:
End of file in RdPar. i have tried the possible solutions but none seem to be working.like i used scf=qc/scf=xqc to try and resolve the issue. please help me,i am still new to the field of computational.
Hi there,
If you fail to start the calculations, this is likely to be related with the number of blank lines you put at the bottom of each section. Try to put a blank line after the custom MM parameters. Look here for an overview:

If this is not the case can you be more precise, maybe providing an example of your input file?
