Hi! In order to solve and interpret NMR spectra, I recommend you books written by Silverstein. Some of them you can find online. I have a pretty high experience on NMR spectra solving, so you can feel free to ask me for a help.

Thanks for your reference. I have synthesized some organic compounds and this is my first attempt too. Being a physicst i dono much about interpretting nmr spectra. I have taken nmr for the compound synthesized by me. But i dono how to interpret it to confirm whether the synthesis was perfect or not? Kinldy give suggestions...

Hi! Is that compound the old one, known in the literature or the new one? Please take a look at Silverstein, it will give you an idea how to calculte chemical shifts. There are formulae to do it. If your supervisor agree, you can also send me spectra and what you are expecting, so I can tell you whether you have the compound or not.
