Dear Rahul, if you are sure that you have pure compound, probably you know its structure. If you have it then you can predict the compounds NMR spectra as Dr. Wintner said and compare with your real NMR data. Otherwise, you have to follow some NMR lectures as advised Dr. Fomin .

Attach the spectrum or data of signals.chemical shift and integration

Also if you have an idea about the suggested structure or no then if the problem only assignment this is very easy

details of the compound:-

1.it is dissolved in water and other solvent too.

2.the compound is acidic as its pH is coming 2.5-3.0

3.compund is pure and extracted and purified from the plant source.

4. solvent used for NMR is D2O

I have received spectra and will see them. On the first sight it is really native not artifitial compound of complex sugar type. Will answer you in a day or two. As you know plant-sourse you may try to find information about the main components of it which could exstracted in order to compaire with my suggestions expected.

The first compound found in essentional concentration exept some not exactly identified sugars is

glycine 42 ppm in 13C NMR and corresponding carbonyl 176 ppm, the large 3.8 ppm in 1H NMR

I think we ll find other acids we ll see...

Dear young colegue. Except mainly sugars and glycine I can add cirtanly only lactic acid, maybe oxalyc (very character174 ppm) and in minor quantities of some cinnamate, may be a kind ferulic acid (aromatic region). Regards

as u told me to find it out what are the compounds mainly present in that plant source so i am going through the journals and if i found it i will send you the compound list which will give some idea about the spectrum.
