I was able to isolate this organism in a soil sample.
Dear Eldrin, it seems to be not belong to Bacillariophyta. For more detail identification you should put a scale to the photo.

I would say it is Chlorolobion braunii (Näg.) Komárek - a green alga.

Dear Eldrin,
Since the photomicrographs shows the cell body as elongated and spindle shaped, straight or curved, sharply pointed at both ends I would suggest that it could be a species of Monoraphidium possibly the species could be M. lunare .
It would be appropriate to show the scale and /or magnification is shown.
The species is characterized by the following features:
Cell spindle-shaped, moderately curved, with blunt ends, 8-17 μm long, 1-3 μm wide, chloroplast parietal.

of course, it is not good way to identify a sample from photo without scale and some classification characterize. But it might be Quadrigula.
