Gas chromatographers, we want to repair an old HP 5890 Series II, it is very likely an electronic problem due to a faulty printed control board (PCB). We have a technician able to repair printed board but he needs the diagrams. I was able to find the service manual, but no description of the electronic circuit. Does anybody have this kind of diagram, and would be able to provide me a *.pdf version of it in private message?
The schematics for the 5890 Series II were never published (H-P farmed out the board production). If you can describe the error that you are getting I may be able to point you in the right direction on the board.
