I cannot understand how Research Gate calculate the RG score. In my observation, I have seen some contradictory items as compare with me. I have 28 research items, 1285 reads and 76 citations. Overall my RG score is 8.72.
On the other hand, anyone (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Helal_Uddin2) who has 9 research items, 247 reads and 31 citations. But overall his RG score is 11.94. Is it correct. I shall be highly please if anyone kindly give me the the clarification about the RG score.

I think my research items contains more impact factor than him as if you compare paper to paper with me and him.
The RG score depends not only on the published papars but also on the questions, answers and the followers of the RG member.

Thank you very much for your comment. However, I cannot agree with your answer. Because, according to the comparison, I have seen that my research items are 28 and citations 76. Then my RG score is 8.73.
On the other, the researcher Hijaz Ahmad (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Hijaz_Ahmad) has only 3 research items and 4 citations. But, his RG score is 11.23.
Anyway, Hijaz Ahmad has published his three articles to “Nonlinear Science Letter A”. I think this journal has no impactor.
How it possible?

Whenever I add a new paper to researchgate, my RG score increase equal to impact factor of journal. About the researcher you said (Hijaz Ahmad), I think his RG is high due to his large amount of reads (more than 11000). So, Maybe the number of reading could affect the RG score.
In addition to the provided responses, I think that the citation plays a considerable role in this regard.
Also adding data such as figures, pre-prints, video and so on helps improving the RG Score.
