Can anyone explain the difference between Out of range (OOR) and limit of quantification (LOQ) in serum cytokine biomarker luminex analysis?

I write a paper about inflammatory markers, measured with bead-based luminex xMAP technology, and in the methods section i want to write something about the low data. Some variables, like IL1beta, had a lot of values that were originally below OOR (but could be implemented later, i thougt based on a 5pl curve). I am a medicine student and have little background in analyzing techniques.

2nd: in some > 80% was below OOR and later estimated.. we got the advise not to use these values. Can anyone give a reference for that?
