Presently I am working on the estimation of trace minerals (Cu, Zn and Mn) in lymphoid organs of broiler chickens in certain immunosupressive diseases like IBD, NCD, and Colibacillosis. Surprisingly the concentration of these minerals in lymphoid organs comes out to be very high as compared to tissues. I would be grateful if somebody could give me the range of these mineral elements in lymphoid organs of diseased as well as normal birds. Moreover, what is the relationship between trace mineral concentration and immunosupression? What is the comparative level of trace minerals in tissues, serum and lymphoid organs during immunosupression?
