I believe you mean "hypertensive" right ?
Well high blood pressure is reduced with aerobic training. In my design (cardiac rehab face III) I'm using cycling or jogging in 65% - 80% of maximal aerobic capacity.
vitamin C, zinc and copper are important nutrients to control blood pressure. Foods sources for these micro nutrients are; guava, orange, amla, lemon, tomato, papaya, green leafy vegetables (amaranth, mustard, spinach), whole grains (whole wheat, millets, brown rice), lentil, soybean, sweet potato, almond, walnut, sesame, apricots, watermelon.
Buttermilk is also good if you are lactovegetarian.
Best physical activity would be brisk walk for at least 50 minutes every day.
Main keys to control and get rid of the hypertension:
1. 2-3 servings of fruits everyday as they are rich in potassium n lowers the B.P
2. 30 minutes physical exercise may be in form of brisk walk, aerobics, cycling.
3. Include Amla in your routine.
4. Avoid the intake of bakery products (bread, pastries), pickles, canned food as they contain sodium as preservative n lead to weight gain as well.
Spinach has high sodium content, hence should not be used in high blood pressure control therapy. Use of honey and amla juice in equal quantity i.e 1 tsp each in early morning is a remedy. Some yogasana like sarvangasan, yogmudra can be practiced.
Hypertension, far from being "essential", is multifactorial, a major factor being inflammation, and should be treated with an anti-inflammatory nutritional program. Since salt influences the arterial wall and osmosis, salt intake should be limited to the salt in freshly prepared food. ("salt-free diets" may lead to weakness and fatigue)
Hypertensive patients often will be IR and give a history of excessive salt use. Vegetarian diets will often, but not always, lower insulin sufficiently to
normalize insulin, and are in themselves no goal or necessity for treating inflammation.

Look for the exercise is medicine website for specific information on beneficial effects of exercise on blood pressure. Both aerobic and anaerobic exercise has been shown to lower blood pressure but many physicians are concerned about recommending strength training to those with HT since BP rises with the effort. More reps with lower weights is probably the way to go though I do not know if this has been tested formally. The DASH diet is certainly evidence-based and the only part of it that would not be vegetarian is the low-fat dairy products. While it is not clear why milk seems important, if you are lacto-vegetarian, this isn't an issue. If not, soy milk or other subsitutes may be used instead. As for the anti-inflammatory diet, we are just beginning to discover the links between inflammation and blood pressure so while it is probably a good idea, the evidence is not there yet. A vegetarian diet that limits refined grains should be anti-inflammatory.
Frankly, I would not recommend a vegetarian diet.
Vegetarian diets generally rely heavily in cereal grains for energy and proteins, but cereals increase the risk of hypertension (see http://www.second-opinions.co.uk/hypertension.html). You don't specify what form the 'physical activity' takes, but if vigorous, that, too, can increase BP.
Incidentally, since people have been heeding the current advice to reduce salt intake, sodium deficiency diseases are appearing. These include heart attacks and the very strokes this advice is aimed at preventing. If your exercise is vigorous and you sweat a lot, you might need to add more salt to your diet.
A high fibre intake, particularly from cereal grains and legumes, is also associated with a wide range of deficiency diseases.
