During analysis of fluid flow problem I observed the fractional derivative of product of two functions. I have not found any useful relation for the fractional order derivative for the product of two functions. Any the expert suggestion will be appreciated, thank you
Unfortunately as far as I know there is no such formula. Same for fractional derivative of composition (it can be expanded into an infinite series).
Do you means something like this? http://www.stt.msu.edu/~mcubed/fracPR.pdf It is infinite order, which I would expect. Are you using fractional derivatives to get some causal relations? I'm not an expert here but did my undergraduate thesis on them. I've found that looking at the microscopic dynamics can sometimes give one a form for nicer results than just using such operators formally.
