I created EFQ, a questionnaire for measuring the dominant way of self-regulation. Part of these items are related to the expectation on work performance (e.g., I enjoy challenging myself; I don't seem to be able to achieve anything worthwhile.; I feel like I am always at risk of failure.). These are examples on so/called Integrated self, Ego-invested and Impersonal self (SDT perspective). Regards.
I think one of the most common measures (especially if your aim is toi publish your work) is self-efficacy belief by Bandura, defined as is confidence in one's own ability to achieve intended results, e.g.
- I can always manage to solve difficult problems if I try hard enough.
- If someone opposes me, I can find the means and ways to get what I want.
- It is easy for me to stick to my aims and accomplish my goals.
It has been applied in numerous organizational contexts and has been shown to be a good predictor of actual performance.
Kind regards
Jörg
