I am using high voltage power generator for generation of cold plasma. And using He or Ar gas. Can anyone kindly share gas parameters for RONS generator?
Please elaborate your question. Looking at it, the different parameters that may effect the generation of RONS in Helium (or Argon) gas are mainly the applied voltage, frequency of the source, gas flow rate, ambient conditions, the configuration of plasma source (Jet or DBD), etc. If you are wondering about the gas type for generation of plasma, helium gas will be better (though expensive) as its breakdown voltage is lower than argon (which might be cheaper than helium). Either helium or argon, the RONS generated by both plasma will be quite similar.
Thank you Bhagirath for your response. Actually I am very new to this cold plasma field and learning about the parameters for Cold plasma jet generation and how to optimise the RONS generation through several physical parameters. I will be using Helium gas as well as Argon gas. I am also thinking to mix air with helium and air with argon. Thus, I am looking some guidance from the expertise who already have experience in plasma generation and handling it in biological application.
