Can any one share literature through which I can understand the effect of IMCs on Mechanical properties (for Cu to SS dissimilar joint) ?

I am working on dissimilar Cu-SS System and welded these material by FSW, LBW, and GTAW . We are in process to carry XRD, SEM and EDS but would like to understand how to analysis the results of these testing. especially, identifying IMCs

Copper may easily form IMC with aluminum during dissimilar FSW or fusion welding. These IMCs form on the Cu/Al interfaces and thus reduce electric conductivity. Copper is almost not dissolvable in Fe at room temperatures and therefore no IMCs can be formed between the two.
