I am new to Latex hence seeking for your valuable.
I have three equations that need to convert in LaTex to submit my research paper.
This equations are converted in LaTex (double column format) but they are not looking as it should.

I would use begin cases instead of \left \right (btw you forgot the \right command) in all the equations like so:

\mbox{Where},(T_F)_g=
\begin{cases}
\stackrel{\left(\frac{X_{total-v}}{X_{total-vbest}}\right)_g, \mbox{if } X_{total-vbest,g}\neq0}
{(T_F)_g=1, if X_{total-vbest,g}=0}
\end{cases}
\end{equation}
The other ones are just way too long. You have to split them up. Here are a couple of suggestions:
