A ventral view would be useful. Is the posterior margin of the shell truncate or rounded? I don't think I can see one in the picture but is there an oblique furrow running from the umbo to the posterior ventral margin? How large is the gape?
I agree with Giovanni, a good side view would be necessary. To make certain, we would also need a better image resolution. It does look like Gastrochaena in the available images, but Gastrochaena may not be the only gastrochaenid genus available in the area, and gastrochaenids are not the only family with these general shell proportions. To make sure, check the interior of the hinge. And what is the proboscis-like appendage extending through the anterior commissure? Not a gastrochaenid foot I would say.
