As author, I use only AI-based translations (https://www.deepl.com/translator). As editor, I would not accept texts written by AI.

Recently i have noticed AI (ChatGPT) as an author, also sure that all journals are accepting this. Better to check with jiurnal policy, you are targeting.

As Dr Jeetesh Kumar says, it is in some journals now. But conversely, some journals reject the concept totally. So please check the rules for the journal - whether they want it included as an author or as a statement to say you used it (like a section on Conflict of Interest).
