I am working on a research which aims to develop a risk score to predict critical /bad outcomes of preterm babies. As there are several outcomes but can collectively be called as critical outcomes is it possible for me to develop a single risk score? The risk factors for different outcomes may differ.

Several risk score models have been developed for different conditions. When you analyze your data you can predict a risk score model for pre-term babies. Have a look at the literature and design your study accordingly.
Dear Dimuth Peiris, I am not quite sure I understand your question correctly, but if you aim at developing a model to predict critical oucomes on the basis of several independent risk factors I suggest you take a look at the "Decision Tree" models (e.g. http://www.stat.wisc.edu/~loh/treeprogs/guide/wires11.pdf).
