I am currently working on a battery system let;s say with anode A and cathode B. When done the LSV, I found the stability window in the range of -1.7 to 0.5V. When cycled the battery in the range -1 to 0.2V, the cells are working (now > 400 cycles). But I am not sure what does a negative voltage mean.
Anyone has an idea?

Ioannis Samaras thanks.. here is the LSV performed in 2 electrode setup with active material as working and counter and carbon paper as reference electrode. the voltage range is -1.77 to 0.53 V, based on this I was charging my battery till 0.2V and discharging until -1V. What I am not sure is what does this -ve voltage mean? as, I have never encountered a battery so far which works in the - ve range..

thanks... about another ('similar'[1]) example, among others, might be a LA-battery (focus, only, on the anode electrode).
However,
1) what is the (aqueous ?) electrolyte[2] ?
2) What is the Vrate (in this LSV.png) ?
3) Any early news about CE (Coulombic Efficiency) and long-term cycling stability of this cell (for a candidate battery 'anode', n>>100) ?
