Hello and a very good day to all of RG members. I want to calculate density of a polymer composite material for using in the formula W= m/ (density )F.d ,to calculate wear rate, where "W" stands for wear rate, m is change in mass , F stands for force and d stands for distance or diameter.
I am having a very good experience about learning on RG. I appreciate any type of help.

1.Identify the density of constituent materials
2.Calculate the volume of the composite specimen
3. Identify the volume occupied by the constituents in the composite
4. Dividing the volume of constituents by volume of composite will give the respective volume ratio
5. Multiplying the density of constituent with its respective volume ratio will give the density contribution of that constituent to composite
6. By adding density contribution of individual constituents will give the density of composite.
Composite density = ((density of fiber)*(volume of fiber/volume of composite))+((density of matrix)*(volume of matrix/volume of composite))
