By what criteria can we estimate the efficiency of energy recovery by the PAT system?

In water supply systems, in water distribution networks, there are nodes with excess water pressure, this reduces the efficiency of water supply systems.

Many researchers are proposing to compensate for the over-expenditure of electricity by installing PAT-systems. PAT-system works with a variable head, with variable flow, with a variable speed of the impeller of the pump, used as a PAT. The current produced by the PAT system has a variable frequency and variable quality.
